As a college student at UNI and former high school athlete, I found the fitness transition to a college lifestyle difficult. From being told what to do by a coach to having absolute freedom to do (or not do) whatever I want and eat/drink whatever I want was mind-boggling. I have searched and found some inspiring Twitter users to keep anyone on the right track concerning fitness.
@HealthHabits is a Twitter user from Toronto, Canada, that specializes in tweeting about fat loss and fitness. This is a very useful profile to follow for hints and ideas. Along with their tweets, they include links to articles, videos, and other types of media that might also be helpful to their followers.
@WomensHealthMag is the official Twitter profile of the Women's Health magazine. It provides followers with helpful tips and tricks similar to what are displayed in their magazine, only these are free to read. Along with fitness, the tweets include overall body health such as skin and beauty tips.
@MensHealthMag, similar to @WomensHealthMag, is the official Twitter profile of Men's Health magazine. Their tweets focus on men's fitness needs, and also men's health in general.
@runnersworld corresponds to the popular magazine. For the runner, this Twitter profile specializes in providing running tips and motivation to keep followers on the right track.
